Myofascial Release: J.F.Barnes

60 minutes: $95.00
90 minutes: $140.00

The fascial system is an amazing and unfortunately under recognized system that functions to provide structure and support to the entire body & even acts as a shock absorber to provide protection. The fascia surrounds and infuses every part of the body from the muscles, bones, organs, all the way down to the cellular level.

The Fascial system can therefore affect every system and function in the body.

The John F. Barnes approach to Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure (5-min or longer) into the fascial restrictions to eliminate pain and restore normal alignment for improved overall function of the whole body.

This technique is NOT a massage, but a specific technique that allows for released tension or pressure around the muscles, nerves, blood vessels, and even bones. Each session is performed directly on the skin without oils, creams, etc.

Myofascial Release techniques help promote a high level of independence through education in body mechanics and movement, self treatment instruction, improved flexibility, and postural awareness.

Cranial Therapy:

60 minutes: $95.00
30 minutes: $55.00

Cranial Therapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, and mental stress (among other things). It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull, releasing fascial restrictions, and improving mobility at the sutures of the cranium.

Micro-Current Stimulation

30 minutes: $55.00

Micro-Current Electrical Stimulation: (Dolphin Neurostim)

The Dolphin Neurostim is the worlds first device specically designed to reduce sympathetic stress for the reduction of soft tissue pain.

This therapy integrates the principles of acupuncture with modern neurology to provide an all natural, holistic approach to treating the body and mind. Designed to treat chronic and acute soft tissue pain and scars and adhesions by applying concentrated microcurrent impulses to trigger, motor, and acupuncture points, providing quick and effective pain relief for a long list of medical conditions.

Micro-Current Electrical Stimulation stimulates the production of endorphins, which are the body’s natural pain relievers, resulting in muscle relaxation and improved circulation.

Cold Laser Therapy

30 minutes: $55.00

Another great option for pain relief is the LaserTouchOne, the only pain relief device that combines two modalities to provide relief of acute and chronic pain. It can also be used as adjunctive treatment of post-surgical and post-traumatic acute pain, and for providing temporary relief of pain of musculoskeletal origin.

The laser emits non-thermal light that penetrates tissue to depths of 2 to 5 cm where it is absorbed into cells to stimulate healing and accelerate pain relief.

Direct micro-Current Electrical Stimulation stimulates the production of endorphins, which are the body’s natural pain relievers, resulting in muscle relaxation and improved circulation.

VNS (Vagus Nerve Stimulation)

30 minutes: $55.00

What is it? One of the 12 cranial nerves that control every function of the body. The Vagus is the 10th Cranial nerve and regulates the PNS (parasympathetic nervous system). The PNS helps to regulate our internal organs to optimize health, growth, and restoration.

What does it do? The Vagus nerve controls 80% of the body's involuntary functions.

-Controls the respiratory system. Great for asthma and COPD, sleep apnea, etc.

-Regulates the immune system. Helps with Covid Long Haul issues.

-Controls the digestive system. "The Gut"

-Regulates Blood pressure/ slows heart rate. Helps with relaxation and calming.

-Controls the Fight or Flight response as well as the Freeze response.

*The Left ear controls the Ventral aspect of the Vagus nerve which controls the Fight or Flight response and influences organs above the diaphragm (Heart, Lungs)

*The Right ear controls the Dorsal aspect of the nerve, which controls the Freeze response and influences organs below the diaphragm (Liver, Kidneys, Stomach).

How do you treat the Vagus nerve? You can treat the nerve with deep breathing, relaxation techniques, and with stimulation to the ears with pressure and electric current. Session includes 20-30 min duration with clips on the ear lobes, and a pad on the wrist. Position can be seated or lying down in a sensory friendly relaxing environment.

Scar Release Therapy

30 minutes: $55.00
60 minutes: $95.00

To reduce scar formation by using the MPS (micro point stimulator) , the LTO (low level laser), and myofascial scar release techniques in combination to repolarize and release restricted tissue.

Scars are now recognized as a key source of physical stress. Scars directly connect to the skin through the peripheral nervous system, so any injury to skin or fascia will cause prolonged sympathetic response, resulting in disease or chronic pain.
